About me
My name is Sam and I am a junior at Seward High School. During the past two summers I have worked as a dog handler at Turning Heads Kennel located in Seward, Alaska. I have a passion for working with the dogs at the kennel and with the owners, Iditarod racers Travis Beals and Sarah Stokey. They have given me the opportunity and mentorship to run a young team of their dogs in the Jr. Iditarod 2020.

Support
The Jr. Iditarod is a two day 150 mile race that requires an extensive amount of extreme weather gear and supplies including: a parka, bib snow pants, extra warm boots, multiple layers, and high tech gloves; that doesn't include the dog sled, camping equipment, and dogs . In addition to the gear needed, each racer is responsible for the care of their dogs. This care includes: dog food, vitamins, booties, and, if needed, medical care. I am asking for sponsorships to help support my rookie year race. Any donations to help me pursue this opportunity would be greatly appreciated. My full budget is below, if you would like to sponsor me in an major way ($500+) I might be about to wear your business logo on my sled or parka when i'm on the trail. The race starts February 29  near Wasilla .

Thank you.
