My parents, Rod and Willa Tucker, lost their home this morning in a tragic fire. If you know them, you know they hate me doing this.

Luckily, they both made it out, but with only the clothes on their back. They had to sit in their car and watch their home burn to the ground at 3:30am. Their family heirlooms, photos, jewelry, etc are all gone.

My parents have lived in Stockton for the last 35 years and tonight is the first night they won’t have a home to go to.

Nothing will replace the sentimental value of the things lost, or erase the trauma of waking up to your home on fire, but taking care of the day-to-day will make things a little easier.
