Wanted to update everyone .
Jason is back in the hospital with bowl blockage. They are trying to remove the blockage with our surgery however he also has a hernia that is sitting under his colostomy bag and the intestines he has have collapsed.

I am asking for a little more help.

I can't do this on my own you all have helped me so much in the recent year. It's very much appreciated

Hello I would think most everyone would know if Jason's journey as I'm pretty vocal about it on my Facebook account. Jason has cancer and well it's been a long 8 years. Jason has had several major surgeries including a colostomy and had his bladder removed and had a ostomy there as well.
He has been on chemo for life forever the last two years every two weeks he has chemo.

The last year has been up and down with the chemo. His body is breaking down and it's time to change things up. ..

Jason has Medicare insurance from the cancer disability. He doesn't qualify for Medicaid insurance, he makes 150 to much every month to qualify for that help. So Jason is responsible for 20 percent of the cost for each surgery test and any medical treatment. I have tried my best to stay afloat with these bills. Along with getting his prescription drugs and let's just say a 30 day supply of his blood thinners cost 500 let alone his anti nausea and his other medication he has to take. We are doing everything we can not to ask for help. However it's come to that time where I have to ask and believe me it's killing me to do so.

We have the opportunity to take Jason to the top cancer hospital in Georgia. Emory cancer hospital in Monday 25th

It's also one they can offer clinical trials and other things that could improve his quality of life.
they want to run testing on him with new test to see where his cancer is at in his body at this point last scans show lungs as well.
So this will include all the pet scans ct scans blood testing and you name it they will want to run the testing.
I have an appointment on Monday to meet them and to see if they can help Jason.

If this is not an option then we will have to still have the scans done because it's been 8 months and they need to check his levels.
I won't be able to have these scans done unless I pay the last due monies we owe and the 20 percent of the cost of the scans.
I'm out of time at this point.

When speaking with the aid department of the hospital they are trying to help bring the cost down but still we have to pay 20 percent. The last set of scans cost over 5 thousand with the cost of hospital and physician and hospital staff

I just need help.

This last three months jasons new chemo treatment is giving him bloody rashes in his groin area to where he can not walk and since he is on blood thinners it's been a lot to deal with. Now he is having same rash and his face is swelling every other day and his throat. They think it all comes down to this new chemo but they won't change it.

I'm hopeful that I can just get these new scans paid and that way it gives me 8 more months to save the money for new scans.

Thank you everyone in advance and I honestly would never ask if I was not desperate.
Below is the email for Emory for his new appointment to see if they will take in his case.
Also below is photos of his schedule last few weeks and photos of his legs and the blood clots removed.
