Rowan’s Recovery

On Saturday July 2, Rowan’s mom got one of the worst calls. She was notified while not in her care 1 year old baby Rowan had OVERDOSED on HEROIN. Due to the ongoing investigation, what can be shared is limited. Rowan was left with a great grandparent on Friday and this family member obtained Rowan and siblings on Saturday. At no point was mom contacted or notified. Mom was woken from sleep at 11PM to be told that her baby was being transported to a larger Children’s Hospital to receive the best possible chance of a good outcome. Mom didn’t leave his side. He had multiple issues after his 4 Narcan doses and finally a Narcan IV drip just to be able to be stabilized. After several days in ICU, Rowan was finally stable. Mom has been unable to work since this happened due to not leaving his side and now that he’s discharged, all the appointments. He has medical appointments as well as DCS appointments, interviews for her other children who were present during this traumatic event, and court dates. We’re trying to shower mom and the family with prayers and love and relieve some of the financial burden during this current traumatic situation.
