Suzie's Parkinson Fund
Donation protected
My sister Suzie was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2015. In 2019 it had progressed to Parkinson's Dementia, with disorienting hallucinations, cognitive loss, and depression. She could no longer hold a job or take care of herself or her disabled husband. Today, Suzie requires 24/7 assistance to keep her safe and to carry on the daily functions of life. Like so many others with chronic illnesses in the U.S., neither she nor her husband have the financial resources to go into Assisted Living or Memory Care, nor the funds to pay for in-home care, so we are asking for your help. Her financial challenges will be ongoing, but her immediate needs are to cover in-home professional caregiver assistance, dental costs, doctor visits, Parkinson-specific therapies, and medicines that aren't covered under her health care insurance. Please help any way you can. Suzie is a sweet soul who deserves all the support we can give to help her live with dignity, hope, and peace. Even a $1 can make a difference. With love and blessings to all.
