My 92-year-old Mamma, Ferne Edmonds, suffered two strokes in November 2012. She has right brain aphasia and accelerated dementia. I am an only child and sole provider. I teach over an hour away from home. Mamma stays with the sitters almost twelve hours each day. We have used every dime that we have paying Mamma's medical bills, electric bill, water bill, sitter fees, etc. The sitter fee for twenty days is approximately 1,600 dollars each full month. I do not net much more than that, and the only income that my Mamma has is social security. I do not want my Mamma to live in a nursing home. I am submitting this request for my Mamma to continue being able to get the best care possible. Thank you.
