Help my sister

I am raising money to help my sister Erika, pay for surgery.  Last year Erika found a lump in her throat. Trust me when I say that you are never prepared for that kind of phone call from a loved one.  We didn't tell very many people because we weren't sure exactly what it was. The doctor scheduled a biopsy right away and she was diagnosed with a pleomorphic adenoma, (a tumor in her neck).
   The biopsy came back benign but Erika still wanted it taken out. The doctor at the time reassured her that there was no reason to have it removed because these kind of tumors did not have the potential to become malignan. Just last week Erika scheduled a consultation with a different doctor inquiring about having it removed for peace of mind.
    This doctor told her that it COULD in fact become malignant and was common to do so. She rushed Erika's MRI and consultation with a specialist within 1 week and is pushing for the earliest surgery date available (within 6 weeks)! She is a wife and mother of two beautiful children and with no time to prepare, is about to have some major medical expenses.
     I am asking whole heartedly that we raise funds together to help her pay for this unforsen expense. Any little bit helps. For those of you who cannot contribute (which is completely understandable), I am asking that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
   Together, we can help reach her financial goal and hopefully take some of the added stress and pressure off. I am grateful for you taking the time to read this. My sister is by far the best person I know, and I know how grateful she will be to see all of us pulling together in a time like this. Thank you again.
