support Maggie

Hi our Names are Caroline and Colette. We are fundraising for our good friend Maggie who needs your help.. Maggie has stage 4 cancer. Maggie was first diagnosed 1997 with breast cancer, Maggie fought this and was in remission until 2005 when it returned in her lymph nodes. Maggie travelled to Limerick once more and fought on again and was in remission until November 2021 when unfortunately it returned and Maggie was diagnosed with Stage 4 bone cancer.

Maggie worked hard all through this whilst rearing her two beautiful daughters. Maggie was forced to take time off work for treatment and travel to cork daily which has taken its toll and left her in a very difficult position. Maggie is 62yrs of age has always worked hard and helped others when needed..And now it’s our turn to help her!!

Maggie has a mortgage and everyday bills and is still travelling for hospital appointments.. Maggie is trying to maintain this and is trying to work some hours where possible and her employers have been extremely flexible and understanding however this is will not always be possible to maintain.

Unfortunately Maggie’s mortgage is a split mortgage and will be up for repayment at the end of 2022 with a balance of €80000 owing or she will loose her family home.

We as friends feel Maggie has been through more than her share of misfortune and hard knocks throughout her life and deserves peace of mind and the comfort of knowing her home is safe for the remainder of her life.

Maggie was extremely grateful to all her friends and family for everything they did during her treatment and we now ask you all to help for one last time to
