As many of you know, I have been employed by a certain company for well over a decade. Unfortunately, they made a budgetary decision to eliminate my job.

While I was offered some compensation, it is going to be hard for me as an older woman to find a comparable job somewhere else. I have been out of the job search loop for a long time, and I lack key skills that have become important. I am afraid of falling too far behind during my job search. I also help support my sister and my two nieces since the death of their father.  Not to forget my three fur babies Marshmallow, Pepper and Baby Winston. 

All of this has me very worried.

The apartment where I live has housed my family since 1943, and I really don't want to lose it. These times are scary enough as it is without having to go through something like this.

What I will use these funds for is to get supplies to create art to sell to sturdy up my situation till I find an appropriate job and to make sure my basic bills are paid.

I get it, the world is falling apart. But I am hoping you can find it in your heart to back me up. It will not be forgotten.
