JP’s Barbecue - JP Mooney

Hi, my name is Ashton D’Hulster, and I am the nephew of JP and Sandra Mooney. I was present on the day of the devastating fire, where I watched my uncle lose his food truck and business. On Tuesday, October 4th, JP’s food truck burned due to an electrical fire. He lost all the contents and the food truck. The food truck was JP’s sole income, and commercial kitchen which he worked out of full time. JP was able to set up a temporary kitchen (with the kindness of others in the community) to continue to serve customers for the week of the Norfolk County Fair. Now that the fair is over, and the reality of the situation has set in, we all see that JP has a long road ahead in getting set back up. Building his business from the ground up has high costs that are simply not covered by insurance. Since that day, all I have wanted to do is help him and allow others to do so if they choose. Together with my mom, Christine, we have put together this Go Fund Me page for a dedicated uncle, dad and business owner.
