Support for Dakota

Many of you know how much Dakota means to me—she’s been my baby since she was just three months old. Recently, she was diagnosed with a sarcoma on her front leg. The only option to give her the best chance is to amputate the leg and pray the cancer hasn’t spread.

The surgery and recovery are very costly, and while I don’t like asking for help, my family and friends encouraged me to share this. If you’re able, to help in any way of a donation it would mean so much and go directly toward her care.

I want to be transparent—I do have a destination wedding trip this November that was planned and paid for long before Dakota’s diagnosis, and it’s nonrefundable. I didn’t want that to make anyone feel uncomfortable about helping, but I also didn’t want to hide it.

I did not want you donating and then in a couple of months see me on vacation.
