This is Deno. So many of you have reached out to me asking how you can help those impacted by Hurricane Melissa. As some of you know, I am a proud Jamaican and I’ve been deeply moved by your kindness and support.

For years, my mother and I have been sending barrels filled with food and essential supplies to families and neighbors back home — a small but meaningful way to give back to the community that raised me. Now, with the devastation caused by the hurricane, the need is greater than ever.

In response, I’ve created this GoFundMe to raise funds for an effort close to my heart: filling and shipping barrels of food, clothing, and essential supplies directly to families and neighbors in need on the ground in Jamaica.

Every dollar donated will go directly toward this relief effort — covering the cost of the barrels, the supplies inside, and shipping them safely to those affected.

Your generosity will bring comfort, hope, and real help to people rebuilding their lives in the wake of this disaster.
