Baby in Heaven - Big bill$ on Earth

We have been blessed with a daughter, Shalom, born in Anchorage, Alaska on January 2, 2015, weighing 3lbs 13 oz and 15 inches long. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a chromosomal disorder which is the cause of various physical ailments.
The doctors foresee an inevitable diaphragm placation and G-tube insertion within the next few weeks. When Shalom's breathing is stabilized she will have to undergo heart surgery. These procedures can only be done out of State, requiring flight and accommodation expenses.
This also means that I will not be working for an indefinite period of time. To offset this huge upcoming expense we appreciate your financial support and prayers. Please share this need with your friends.
For those who don't know us personally Shalom has a 14 year old brother, Timo, and a 12 year old sister, Jessica, who are very anxious to have their baby sister come home. Although she was a big surprise to us, she was certainly not a surprise to God.
We have experienced God’s miracle power in our lives and are believing to see God’s intervention in Shalom’s life. Either way, our desire is to see Shalom receive the best possible care.
We look forward to many joyous, fun-filled years with our little angel.
