Day after day, and year after year, there were two places you could count on finding Steve, at the dog park, and on the river. 

We will forever miss our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was so much, to so many. In honor of his loyal friendship and unconditional support we are collecting donations to establish a memorial bench  to be placed inside the dog park at Mitchell Park. Any additional funds received will be donated to Cal Trout, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and restore wild trout  and their waters throughout California.

For anyone who is interested we will be holding a Celebration of Life this Sunday at 2:00 pm, December 6, at the Redwood Group Picnic Area next to the Mitchell Park Dog Park in Palo Alto where we will share stories of Captain Smitty and celebrate the wonderful times we all got to share with him.
