Help My Family Survive The Gaza War

Hello My Dear Friends,

My name is Farid Abdalilah, I am 28 years old Palestinian from Gaza, I currently live with my family in a tent in Mawasi Khan Younis after our beautiful home in Al-Qarara was destroyed. We have been forced to flee multiple times in search of safety.

My family consists of five members: my father Canaan, my mother Maha, my brother Bahij, my sister Dima, and me. We were living in peace and had dreams until the suffering bombing that does not stop now. We used to live in our home, which was full of warmth, beautiful memories, and safety, but the war destroyed everything beautiful. It destroyed our home, and it destroyed our memories.

The occupation forced us to leave our home after bombing the area around us. We fled to the center of Khan Younis to stay with a relative, but our stay lasted only a few days before a second evacuation order came. The occupation army demanded we leave Khan Younis and head to Mawasi Khan Younis. We moved from the city center to Al-Mawasi, a place lacking even the basic necessities of life.

Now we have been living in a tent for more than a year. It is just a piece of cloth and nylon that does not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. It is very cold in winter. We also suffer a lot from the extreme salinity of the water and the abundance of biting insects, mosquitoes and mice.

We are struggling to meet basic necessities, including food, clean water, cleaning supplies, cooking gas, vegetables and other essentials. The closure of crossings, lack of aid and rising prices are making it impossible for us to afford these necessities.

We are looking for a safe exit from Gaza, but it is very difficult and very expensive. Going to Egypt costs more than €5,000 per person! Unfortunately, we cannot afford it. So I ask you to help us get out of Gaza to a safe land.

The campaign goal (€50,000) will go to:

** Covering the costs of my family to obtain basic necessities such as food and clean water, as these goods are very expensive, so we will need approximately €13,000 to meet all my family's basic needs.

** Coordinating my family's travel to leave Gaza to Egypt, and we will need €27,000 for all my family to leave to Egypt, and it will be as follows:

- Issuing and renewing passports for my family, we will need €750.

- Coordinating my family's travel, we will need €1,000.

- Coordinating my father Canaan's travel, we will need €5,000.

- Coordinating my mother Maha's travel, we will need €5,000.

- Coordinating my travel, we will need €5,000.

- Coordinating my brother Bahij's travel, we will need €5,000.

- Coordinating my sister Dima's travel will require €5000.

** Covering my family's expenses to live in Egypt after we leave Gaza we will need €10000 to pay the rent and buy basic necessities for us, clothes and other necessities.
