Family members, friends, and compassionate people are reaching out to help show support to Alexa Cioffi’s family. Alexa, who was only 21 years young, was tragically killed on Staten Island, New York between Hyland Boulevard and Bay Terrance on Monday, September 14, 2015 when a trailer, carrying a 22 foot boat, detached from a pick-up truck and slammed into Alexa pinning her underneath. A tragic story .
Alexa’s parents, Diane and Ralph, her two sisters, Jillian and Vanessa, close family members and friends gathered at Staten Island University Hospital North soon after hearing of this tragic accident. Only minutes after their arrival family and friends were faced with an unimaginable realization that Alexa Cioffi was taken from this life.
Anyone who knew Alexa would tell you that she was a protector of family and friends. She was kind, sweet, loving, motherly and hysterical. She was an amazing daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Alexa Cioffi was loved and adored by many.
Family friends, as well as, friends and co-workers from Alexa's job at Target all believed we should pull together in their time of need and give our support to the Cioffi Family. No one should ever go through the pain of losing a child. Our hearts ache for them.
We all know how costly a funeral can be, especially when it's so unexpected. We would like to give everyone the opportunity to show support to Alexa Cioffi’s family to help out with these expenses. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
