JP Betty - JP Strong

Our beloved friend Betty (Connolly) Shalvey was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma this past January and she has had an uphill battle going through chemotherapy, many painful tests and regular trips from Connecticut to Dana Farber in Boston for her ongoing treatment. Betty is currently awaiting a stem cell transplant in November and although she has been very strong, with the incredible love and support of her husband Liam, her daughter Catriona, and her extended family, it has been an extremely difficult time for them. 

Since Betty is so dear to all of us, we want to help in any way we can to alleviate some of the tremendous burden Betty and her family have endured. There are not many ways we can help Betty right now except through prayers, thoughts, and a financial donation to her “Go Fund Me” page because there are so many hidden expenses for her ongoing therapy and treatment. 

Despite this truly difficult journey, Betty remains very strong and optimistic. She continues to worry about others over herself because that is just the kind of wonderful, sensitive, woman Betty is.
