Jill Kosinski's Medical Fund

This picture was taken the first weekend of December at the Talkeetna craft fair.  This is my mom, Jill and my son, Lukas.  Two weeks later my mom suffered what seemed to be a minor stroke.  After an MRI, the doctors informed us that she had several tumors in her brain that were inflaming the surrounding tissue and caused her to have a seizure.  A CT scan was done and they sound a large mass in her left lung.  She is diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer that spread to her brain.  This was quite an unpleasant shock to us as she has never smoked, and is altogether very healthy.  We are unsure of the prognosis but do know that it will be very expensive and we want her to get the best care with the best quality of life possible.  My mom is my world.  She is so smart and so creative, I wish I could be half as crafty as her.  She is such a good grandma to her three grandchildren, a caring and loving mother to myself and my brother and is always making sure we have handmade gifts and helping with projects or kids homework.  I owe her my life so this is least I can do.  Her wish is to make sure her crafty ideas are written down and carried on.  She also wishes that her grandchildren never ever forget her.  I am on a mission to make memories and take on these cancerous tumors as best I can.  Please help us give my mother the quality of life she deserves by donating to our fund.  Your donations and positive thoughts will give us the support we all need and will never ever be forgotten.
