Jozsef Morrissey's Memorial Fund

Jozsef Morrissey passed away on May 11, 2025 due to a motorcycle accident while visiting family in Texas. Naturally, Joey was there in a selfless manner to ensure his aunt was being taken care of in her late age. After riding his motorcycle 18 hours straight from Illinois to Texas, he did what he could to get his aunt’s affairs in order over the course of a few days. He then began his ride home in order to be back at work on time Monday morning. He never made it. Adding to the heartbreak of losing Jozsef, the accident occurred on Mother’s Day.

Joey’s personality can be summarized in no fewer than these words: honest, loyal, caring, dependable, adventurous, curious, and selfless. We should all strive to embody these attributes as Joey did.

Our goal with this memorial fund is to help cover unforeseen expenses for the family during this difficult time. Any funds that are not used for Jozsef’s funeral expenses and care will be dedicated to creating a memorial in his honor. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any contributions you are able to make.
