Janice Williams is a gentle, humble woman with a heart of pure gold. She works ardently as a chef for Keystone Food Services, which placed her in Kappa Delta Sorority 12 years ago. Since then, Janice has been a familiar face and a helpful hand in the house, and her dedication has not gone unnoticed.

Unfortunately, this past year has brought hard times to her family. In February, her husband, Willie, was in a car wreck several states away, in which the impact of the air bag deployment crushed his chest. During the healing process, he was also diagnosed with an infection in his abdomen that has been ongoing and seemingly incurable. After five surgeries, Willie is still suffering from the infection and requires further operations. Local doctors have exhausted all efforts and will soon be sending him to OU Medical Center to receive better care. 

Despite the financial and physical toll of this process, Janice has remained positive and optimistic. She is such a bright light in our presence every day, and she deserves more than we can ever give, but we want to help by raising funds to assist her with the personal expenses she faces daily. The costs of transportation, hospital transfers and special diet items quickly add up, but donations can help to counter the financial stress of extra payments.

We have set the fundraising goal at $12,000, one thousand for each year Janice has worked tirelessly to maintain a happy, healthy atmosphere in our home.
