Hello Friends & Family of Joy Smith!
If you know Joy, you know the light that she brings wherever she goes. She has a high value for serving young people. She finds those who have lost hope and fights for their dreams. She calls out potential in everyone she meets. She is an amazing friend, sister & daughter. It's now time for us to be there for her as she battles some health issues, upcoming surgery and recovery.
Joy has been working extremely hard working two full time jobs while getting her BA at Simpson University in Redding, CA. Nothing has been able to stop her until now.
After surviving a head on collision last year, the tests in the hospital revealed she had a tumor resting between her heart and her spine causing an abnormal rhythm. The doctors have not been able to rule out cancer. They need to operate to remove the tumor, this means she cannot work for many weeks due to the extended recovery time. She will be getting surgery some time in January.
Let's rally for Joy like she's rallied for others!
The financial support would be such an incredible blessing to Joy, so she is not stressed covering medical bills and living expenses but instead can focus on her health and recovery.
I know this is a hard time for everyone, but anything you can give would help immensely. Thank you so much for your prayers and generosity!
