Recently I started volunteering at CASA of Ocean County Inc.; An organization committed to advocating for the best interest of at risk children in out-of-home-placement who are victims of abuse and neglect.
In the short time that I have been here, I have seen how critical the role of a CASA is in the outcome of a child's situation. A child is abused in New Jersey every hour and in Ocean County alone more than 500 children have been removed from their homes because of this. What this CASA office delivers with the small staff it has is nothing short of amazing.
Help me mark my 27th year by raising $2,500 for this cause and together we'll help children in foster care get the services they need. No gift is too small.
