I am a woman born in a time of controversy to a family who at the time struggled to thrive. This environment made me resilient to most obstacles encountered throughout my life. I am also a mother of 2 wonderful young men, a grandmother of 2 beautiful grandchildren, a 10 year United States Air Force (USAF) veteran, and a warrior of peace. My youngest son is in the United States Army(USA), and the oldest son a registered nurse.
I was diagnosed with stage lV breast cancer in 2013 and I have been very humbled by the changes that have taken place in my life! I underwent a year of chemotherapy and a right breast masectomy, but the cancer still persists. A subsequent scan has revealed the cancer had spread from the breast to the chest wall, the sternum, and possibly the right lung. To my suprise my oldest son who is a registered nurse asked me "mom what are your final wishes and what preparations would you like me to make for you"?
I WANT TO LIVE!!!! Those are my final wishes. When I agreed to undergo chemotherapy, I was told by a few oncologists, "this was not a cure"! Because of the fear and anger I felt after being diagnosed, the pain I was experiencing, and not being able to afford other healing methods, I reluctantly I agreed to undergo chemotherapy. Needless to say the side effects of both the chemotherapy and the drugs for the side effects of chemotherapy, caused dibilitating effects on my body and as a result I could hardly walk. Then I really feared for my life!!!!
I have chosen HUMILITY to reach out for help. The cost of my HEALING treatment is not paid for by the Veterans Administration and again I want to live! I have been able to talk with other women who are cancer free after choosing to take control of their recovery from this debilitating disease. Their testimonies have given me the courage to take control of my own recovery .
I have had to change my way of life. The supplements that are required to heal my body are costly. Presently, I do not have the use of my right arm due to the cancer affecting my lymphatic system. I am no longer able to work; and at the tender age of 57 I am disabled. Time is of the essence for me at this critical stage of the fight. I am now at the point that I am fighting for my life. I am humbly asking for your financial donations to help me win this battle, to give back to society, and be able to once again enjoy my grandchildren who I love as much as I love living! I am asking for your help because I WANT TO LIVE.
