Joyce's campaign for coreys closet inc.
Tax deductible
As you know, Corey’s Closet is a unique thrift store in Hooksett NH that has a goal to employ those with developmental disabilities. Since opening a little over a year ago, Corey’s Closet has worked diligently towards those goals and now has 5 adults with developmental disabilities volunteering on a regular basis and they are working towards their goal of having these volunteers turn into paid employees. Until then, Corey’s Closet gives them the skills and confidence needed for work experience.
Corey’s Closet had an electrical fire yesterday. Thankfully, no one was hurt but the store has sustained substantial smoke damage and cannot open until a professional cleaning company can be brought in. Unfortunately, the deductible cost to have the insurance cover all the expenses is $2500.00. This is the immediate goal that we need. The final goal is to raise $5000.00 total, so there is an additional $2500.00 for other expenses the insurance company may not cover.
Their volunteers need to be back at work!!! Corey’s Closet needs to re-open sooner rather than later. Please find it in your heart to make a donation, no matter how small. As a small non-profit company,
Corey’s Closet has only you to reach out to. The owners, Brenda and John, have put countless hours into this business, not just for their son Corey, but other adults who deserve to feel like a productive member of society.
Thanks in advance for your donation!
