My beloved Aunt Joyce (Stockstill) lost her home and most of her possessions on Tuesday 9/8/20 as the #AlmedaDriveFire destroyed so much of Talent Oregon. Her manufactured home inside the retirement community of Mountain View Estates is one of the 140+ homes lost in this park. Devastation! Joyce escaped with not much more than the clothes on her back, taking two other park residents with her, assuring that they got to safety as well.
Joyce has been a force of positivity for my entire life, and anyone who knows her knows that signature laugh! So many people have been touched by her kindness and positivity in the Rogue Valley and beyond!
The fire took her home, and most of her possessions, including family heirlooms. Please consider giving back to help this woman who has given so many, so much! All donations will support Joyce in rebuilding her life.
