Hi. My name is Diana. I lost my mother to dementia Friday, September 19, 2025. It was very sudden. She was fine the day before and the next morning, she was not okay. Her breathing became erratic, and she was unresponsive. She slept all day like that and later that evening, she stopped breathing altogether.

I am lost. I am heartbroken. And I need help. My family never had a lot of money, but my mom always did the best for us. Now I want to do the best for her. I am an elementary school teacher and the stereotype is true: We don’t make a lot of money. I have very little savings and I’m not sure how much laying my momma to rest is going to take. I’ve never asked for help, but I really need help right now. If you can help, I would be forever grateful.

I don’t know what to do. This feels like a horrible nightmare. It doesn’t feel real, but it is. Please share my story so that just maybe I might be able to give her the services that she deserves.
