Joyce Needs Us

Hi, I'm Jennifer, and my longtime friend and colleague Joyce Dillon needs our help. Joyce was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago, which metastasized quickly and spread to her liver. She went from being perfectly healthy and vibrant to feeling like she was on the edge of death from chemo. Though the combination of traditional and holistic treatments nearly eliminated the cancer, new scans show that it has now shown up in her bones.

Joyce has spent the better part of her life serving others as a nurse in home health, mental health care and the Veterans Administration (VA) hospital. While doing so, she also became a health and wellness coach, transforming dozens of lives along the way. As my beloved colleague, Joyce and I have collaborated on multiple projects over the last twenty plus years including wellness retreats, podcasts and a radio show.

It is my honor to set this GoFundMe account up for Joyce, as she has recently become confined to her bed. As she transitions to a new level of care, she needs our help to cover the costs. Though my breast cancer diagnosis came years ago, I remember all too well how much it wrecked my life - not just my health, but my ability to provide for myself and my family. The expenses are overwhelming to those with caregiving professions like Joyce.
