Joyce Gallway's fight against cancer

Hi, my name is Susan Campbell and I am raising funds for our community's dear friend Joyce Gallway. Joyce has been an employee of Waller ISD for 35 years and has been an integral part of students, teachers, and community members lives. In her role at WISD Joyce has always welcomed and greeted students, parents, faculty, and visitors with a smile and instantly made them feel at home.

Last June Joyce was diagnosed with cancer, and continued working at her beloved Waller ISD while receiving treatment. Unfortunately, in early March the cancer returned with a vengence and Joyce is now battling it with everything she has. She has been so resilient over the last ten months and now she needs the support of her community to help rally her to victory. In typical Joyce fashion when I asked her if I could do this for her she said, "yes, but only because it will help my family." These funds will be used to help support Joyce at home with a nurse who can administer care, provide encouragement and companionship until she is back on her feet. Any amount will help as we are reaching out to all those who know and love our special Mrs. Gallway.
