Overview
As some of you are aware, our mom has been sick and out of work for the past year and a half. She had some dental work that was improperly performed, which snowballed into something bigger than anything we could have imagined. We watched as our fun loving, energetic, charismatic mom went from being perfectly healthy to being frail, somber, and fatigued in a matter of months. She had to stop working the day she walked up a flight of steps and then had to lay down for a half hour just to catch her breath. She was in and out of doctors’ offices, had dozens of tests run, and tried physical therapy and changing her diet. Unfortunately, nothing helped and her health continued to decline. It wasn’t until she visited the New York Center for Innovative Medicine (NYCIM) that we saw a glimpse of hope. With the use of quantum physics DNA testing, her doctor at NYCIM was able to pinpoint all of the issues going on with mom, and started to administer a treatment program for her. This page was created to raise funds to help with our mom’s mountain of medical expenses.
The Story
In 2016, our mom went to the dentist, had four root canals, and then later in the year, found out all four teeth were infected and abscessed. The teeth were extracted in early 2017, but the damage had been done. Her heart, autonomic nervous system, endocrine system, and entire body had been severely compromised. She became disabled in April 2017 and hasn’t worked since. She spent the majority of 2017 and all of 2018 on the couch and in bed with crippling and extreme fatigue, HBP and heart palpitations, nausea, extreme anxiety (caused by the damage to her thyroid and adrenals), vertigo, constant ringing/pressure/hissing in her ears, and she’s plummeted down to 101 lbs.
Our mom’s been to countless doctors and specialists including Endocrinologists, ENTs, Neurosurgeons, Cardiologists, Vestibular Specialists, and others. Unfortunately, none were able to determine a diagnosis or help her in anyway. She had every possible test run (EKGs, MRIs, echocardiograms, CT scans, blood tests, ultra sounds, saliva tests, Lyme disease tests, etc) but none were conclusive in diagnosing the issues either. Because of this, mom sought the help of multiple homeopathic physicians and specialists. Although they were able to help her somewhat at times, the homeopathic treatments were also unsuccessful. She consulted with multiple dentists, endodontists and oral surgeons regarding her situation throughout this time as well.
When visiting a homeopathic dentist in December 2017, it was determined that a bone graft done on one of her extracted abscessed teeth had been done improperly. This caused another infection in her mouth which played a significant role in the further decline of her health. For six months, the new dentist administered ozone injections and catheterizations. This addressed the infected bone graft, but did little to improve mom’s overall health. In fact, it seemed like she was getting worse.
Finally, in June 2018, we got some good news! After 18 months of appointment after appointment with no results or a proper diagnosis, being bedridden, changing her diet, and not seeing any improvements, we believe mom finally got some answers when she visited the New York Center for Innovative Medicine (NYCIM). Through quantum physics DNA testing, mom’s doctor at NYCIM ( Dr. Thomas K. Szulc) determined the following primary ailments that predominantly stemmed from the dental procedures:
· An extremely high level of connective tissue toxicity (17 on a scale of 0 - 21)
· Bacterial infections
· A Coxsackie B Viral Infection
· Dysfunction in her autonomic nervous system
· An Aspergillus fungal infection
· Parasitic pathogens
· An extremely weak immune system
· Significant issues with her pituitary gland, lungs, endocrine system, gastrointestinal system, lymphatic system, and thymus gland
As a result, he has begun administering a specific treatment program made up of oral supplements, as well as special invasive treatments that he is confident will finally heal her! Unfortunately, NONE of the oral supplements, minerals, and extensive invasive treatments (IV Therapy, Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation Therapy, Neural Therapy, Ozone Therapy, Airnergy Oxygen Therapy, Matrix Regeneration Therapy, Onnetsu Therapy, ACMOS Rebalancing, Halo Therapy, and others) will be covered by her health insurance because they are considered alternative medical procedures. At $2,000+ per day, she needs a minimum of two weeks of treatments (6 to 8 per day) with the likelihood of additional treatments. She will be on the oral supplements and minerals for at least two months.
Our parents have already spent well over $40,000 out-of-pocket for deductibles and co-pays for doctor and dentist appointments, visits to specialists, tests, medications, hotel and travel expenses, and extensive homeopathic services and supplements which were not covered by insurance. The cost of the oral supplements and invasive treatments at the NYCIM over the next two months will be a minimum of $30,000 as well. Because our parents feel the NYCIM is mom’s last resort, we’ve set our fund raising goal at $40,000. We know this is a lofty goal, but this amount will help cover mom’s medical expenses at NYCIM and will help pay for other bills that have accumulated during this whole ordeal. We are reaching out to friends and family to ask for help in lessening this financial burden on our parents. Now that there's light at the end of the tunnel, we don't want to see our mom continue to suffer due to a lack of funds. It goes without saying but any donation will be genuinely appreciated!
