Joya's FFS Recovery Fund

Hello there! My name is Joya (she/her) and I am an artist living in NYC. I am an aspiring writer and nail tech, deeply involved with my community, and work part time at a cafe in Brooklyn. Some of you may know me and some of you may not. Either way, thank you for being here.

I started medically transitioning 5 years ago and while I was allowing the hormones to make their inevitable changes, I've always known I wanted facial feminization surgery (FFS). I'm just over 30 days away from my FFS date which is scheduled for 9/2/25. This is a DEEPLY affirming step in my transition and I am so grateful for the access to such necessary treatment.

I am raising money to support my needs while I take 4-6 weeks off work during my rest and recovery period. All financial support will go to paying rent, essential bills, healing supplies, and groceries through this process.
