Joy Nicholas is a native of D.C, a posse scholar, and senior at the University of Rochester studying Public Health. Unfortunately Joy, our sister, daughter, niece, and friend, has endured a horrific car accident early this month. She has suffered severe injuries resulting in the loss of an arm and multiple facial surgeries. This page is dedicated to Joy and her family to help them through this tough time. She has always been a strong and driven woman; as she serves both her university community and community in D.C. However at this time, Joy and her family need our help. We must do what we can to ensure that Joy has a successful healing process and that she can return home to her family soon. Joy has touched many hearts over the course of her 20 years and it is now our turn to make sure that we can get our joyful Joy on the road to healing.
