Joy Stehlik - Moving Nightmare

Joy Stehlik worked at the SpringHill Suites Orange Beach and was excited to begin a new chapter with a promotion to the Fairfield Inn Indianapolis Airport. As she began her relocation, she hired a moving company that would soon turn her exciting new adventure into a moving nightmare.
Here are Joy's own words related to the experience: "When the movers arrived with my belongings the majority of the boxes were saturated with water. As I started to open the boxes I realized the contents were not only wet but they stank and some things had mold on them. I asked the movers but they said they did not know why the boxes were wet and damaged.
My clothes are stained with brown coloring from the boxes and a lot of items bled onto to each other leaving stains that will not wash out. My bedding and pillows have mildew spots already growing on them. My gloves have mold spots and my down feathered pillows have mold as well. My large area rug was wet and smells like a wet dog.
Neither of my TV's work, when I plugged in my 55" TV in it sparked and the screen turned blue! Probably because it got wet. My dining room table is cracked all the way across and my night stand has damage as well. I have white cloth chairs with custom made slip covers and they are stained with shoe prints, pizza sauce and finger prints. My art work made it safe although my oil painting will have to be taken out of the frame and re-stretched. I am missing so many items like pictures, pots and pans, vacuum cleaner, toaster, slow cooker, DVD player, lamps and the majority of the items in my bathroom. One of the boxes had a bottle of Avocado oil and it spilled out and saturated everything in the box. I took over 300 of pictures of damaged items.
Some family photos are ruined with water damage as are my cook books etc. All my Christmas decorations are wet and have to be thrown in the garbage. They were in plastic totes with snap on lids so how the water got in there is crazy. I have made several attempts to complain and am only given an 800 number to call which has a recorded message and no option to speak with a live person. I went the other route which is to submit a claim online and they finally emailed me back and said someone will contact me in 7 days. "
Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated toward helping Joy replace the items that are ruined.
