Joy's Mission in Guatemala

Hi friends!
My name is Joy and I am a first-year Psychology major at the University of Florida. This past spring break I went on a mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala, with a Christian ministry called Cru at UF. While in Antigua, I found a passion for serving those in the beautiful country of Guatemala. I have decided to take an internship with the permanent mission team based in Antigua, and will be living there for two months over the summer! The mission team, called Adventures Guatemala, assists with missions trips distributing water filters, building stoves, and collecting shoes for the families of Antigua. They also help to train Guatemalans to be missionaries so that they too can travel and spread the Word of God throughout the nations.
In order for me to pursue this calling, I need to raise about $2,000 in order to cover the plane ticket, food, housing, and mission fees for Adventures Guatemala. I need to raise funds before I leave at the beginning of June, and any size of donation would help me out greatly! The money you donate will help me to make a direct impact in the lives of families throughout the entirety of Antigua, Guatemala. However, I completely understand if you are not financially able to support me, but don't fret! I would also greatly appreciate your prayers as I pursue this mission, and if you could share my page on social media, that would be fantastic!
