Hello & thank you to those of who that are taking the time to read this and hear a little bit about Lindseys journey.

Lindsey Norton is a beautiful 23 year old young woman who happens to have a serious and life shortening medical condition called Cerebral Neuromuscular Dysgenesis. If you're not sure what that is, Cerebral dysgenesis is abnormal brain development, also known as brain malformation, which differs from the other three causes of Cerebral Palsy. Lindsey is legally blind, non-verbal and has dystonic quadriplegia (cerebral palsy) as well as severe intellectual disability, significant scoliosis and a seizure disorder. She is assisted by a G-I tube for feeding and uses a wheelchair that has to be operated by others for all and any transportation.

Complications from her underlying and chronic medical issues have resulted in her being fully dependent on her mother Diane and others for all of her medical needs, caregiving and all activities that come along with daily living.

We are asking for donations on behalf of Lindsey's loved ones to give her what she deserves, which is quality of life; something I think we can all relate to. Our goal amount is $75,000 but anything helps and is truly appreciated. What your donations will be going towards is a first floor extension to her home for a bathroom with a roll in shower, central air with a air purifying system that will be extremely beneficial for managing significant raspatory issues and environmental allergies as well as helping manage her body temperature (temperature dysregulation is part of her underlying medical issues). Your donations will also be going towards a handicap ramp to go to and from her home and a farmers porch with a roof so Lindsey can enjoy outside without being in direct sunlight.
