Joy of Reading fundraising

'Joy of Reading' seeks to put engaging books into the hands of school children and Second Chance Book Club at Danville City Jail.

Our goal is to give away 1 million books. To date, we have given almost 158,000 books. Average books cost between $3-$5 for school children and $10 for adults, so our next goal is $5,000 by the end of 2025.

As you have read, my goal is fun and makes me happy. If I reach my next goal, I would like to have the extra funds available to ensure those who wish for books can have them.
