She was our mom, sister, daughter, and best friend. She was a kind and gentle person who always wanted the best for anyone. When she loved, her love was strong. She would call herself an observer, always understanding what is going on around her.... always listening. She would always pick up the phone for a friend in need. She always knew the right thing to say and would listen quietly. She was a shoulder to cry on without judgment. Her free spirit was contagious. She always wanted to experience something new and live life to the fullest.

Her name was Joy, and she was joyous.

On February 19th, 2022, we lost her to suicide. Our family is completely devastated by the tragic loss. We ask you to remember her as the beautiful person she was. Any donations will help our family navigate through this unexpected loss. These funds will assist with funeral arrangements such as transportation costs, viewing ceremony, and final cremation.
