Joy Fuqua Family Disaster Fund

Hi, my name is Laura Burleigh and I’m fundraising for our fellow teacher, Joy Fuqua, and her family. The night of the storms last week, Joy and her husband woke up to find one foot of water in their garage and 6 inches of water in every room of their home. Like many of us, they do not have flood insurance. All of their flooring has to be replaced and dry wall in every room will need to replaced and repaired. In addition, her home will have to be treated for excess moisture so they do not get mold. We are asking people to donate whatever they can but also hoping that each of us can make a $50 donation at this time to help the Fuqua’s out with this unexpected disaster. Joy is such a giving and wonderful person and this is my Christmas wish to help her and her family.
