Joy Ferchaud

19-year-old, Joy Ferchaud died Wednesday, Jan. 12th in a tragic car accident on I10. She was a hard working and well rounded girl who contributed so much to the lives of those around her. She had plans to pursue dental hygiene in New Orleans after her time at Louisiana State University. Joy made an impact on her community in Tallahassee and in Baton Rouge.

 

If you were lucky enough to know Joy, you know she was as kind as kind can be. To know her was to love her. We all wonder why the good die young but God knew what he was doing and made sure she squeezed out every ounce of life and every ounce of love that a person can in one life time. She said more “I love you”s and more “I miss you”s than anyone else. She made everyone feel good, even those who did not know her well.

 

Some are wondering where she went or what she’s doing. Please pray for God to show her family and loved ones a miracle to let everyone know she is in heaven. I think it’s safe to say she is. It’s safe to say she is celebrating this wonderful life wherever she is. Please thank God for sharing the Joy we know and love for the short while He did. She left her mark on the world. Let’s all try to love like Joy loved.
