Joy Bear's tragic house fire

On the evening of Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, Joy Bear's house burnt entirely down. It destroyed every material possession of the family and took the last momentos and pictures from Joy of her beloved son and dad.

Joy is an exceptional person. She is undoubtedly one of the most loving and giving people you could ever meet. She works two jobs to make sure that everyone around her is comfortable. I have had the pleasure of working with her at the White Shield Head Start for the past 9 years, and what I have seen in her is the ultimate gift of giving. She is always around to help others and goes above and beyond for everything she believes in. And what she believes in is family and children. She not only takes care of her grandchildren but she is also a foster mother and has been known to host people that need somewhere to stay. She is continuously doing food sales and is famously known for her delicious frybread. If you are able to help out Joy and her family it would literally mean the world to everyone that loves her.
