Joy Anne

Joy Anne Deane Hi, our names are Katie & Olivia and we're raising money for our former Nanny Joy Anne Deane. Joy Anne is well known and beloved by many in the Ridgewood and broader community. She is a very special and positive person, so special that words cannot describe, but just think “the child whisperer”. Two months ago she was diagnosed with a cancerous Glioblastoma, which is a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor. She is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy although currently in the ICU at Holy Name Hospital. Many of us including her current employer and the hospital are reaching out and helping her only daughter Michelle who may need to take an unpaid leave from one of her 2 jobs to care for her mom, Joy Anne. However, there are still many expenses that require additional funds such as costs for chemo and other medications, i.e., steroids, a nurse aid, drivers to the hospital, household medical supplies and devices, groceries and household bills and unfortunately the eventual costs of her final arrangements.
