Joy and Joyce Magsino Conjoined Twins Sponsorship

A few months ago, I came across a video online about two remarkable twin girls named Joy and Joyce Magsino

They are conjoined twins, joined at the head, and they've just turned 14 years old.

As soon as I laid eyes on them, my heart burst. I felt so much compassion and love for these two girls that I had never met. The are vibrant, positive, sweet, love dancing, do shorts on TikTok and have a YouTube channel listed below:

I searched and searched everywhere online, as to how to donate to their operation, and found many people on social media were doing the same. All fundraising pages were no longer active, yet so many people were asking what they could do.

I reached out to them on social media, and a few months after my initial message, I received a reply and had the honour of video calling and messaging the girls and their mother. A very surreal experience considering I'm in Australia and they're in the Phillipines and in my eyes, they're world famous!

It's been wonderful being able to keep in touch with them, and I've sent them a donation myself. I suggested to the mother that she should set up a donation page, but she genuinely doesn't know how to and this platform is not available in the Phillipines. I can send it directly to them, which I have tested this week myself. It took two days for the money to transfer from my Australian bank account to theirs, which is amazing. They received it and sent me photos of some school supplies they purchased from the market.

At this point in time, the girls are in good health, and they have told me their main focus right now is their study.

Because of their challenges, they are currently in grade 2, doing their very best. Their mum is trying to get sponsorship for their education. Supplies like a laptop etc.

I know there are people all over the globe who would love to contribute if they could and I'm so grateful that there is a way technology can help us do it.
