Joven Raetik came to the United States last December 1st to receive medical assistance for cancer. Joven came with a tumor outside of his throat that needed to be surgically removed. Once removed, the doctors diagnosed him with Stage 4 cancer. He underwent chemo and radiation once. Later, however, the doctors found that his cancer had spread to his lungs.
Joven enjoyed playing his keyboard and singing to his family. He was a husband, a father of five children, four boys and one girl. He gave up his time to pursue this medical journey, because he wanted a second chance at life with them in the future-cancerfree. However, this was not to be. Joven passed away on Friday, July 14th at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
The family and children would like to have Joven back home in Guam. They are asking for any monetary donation you can give. All the funds will be used soley to get Joven back home for a burial.
