Jovany Arevalo's Road to Recovery

Dear Friends and Family,

We are graciously asking for donations to support the family of Jovany Arevalo. Sadly, he was in a severe car accident on his way home from school on November 2, 2022. He was in critical condition, and after several surgeries, he is still in ICU with a long road to recovery. As his recovery journey continues, we will update this site with new pictures and more details.

Jovany is a sweet, kind young man who is also loving and respectful. He has a strong work ethic; he spent the last two summers working at Waterworld and is currently employed part-time at Chick-fil-A. Jovany has a close relationship with his family, especially his two young sisters. He is passionate about sports; he played basketball for the Wildcats at St. Catherine of Siena from kindergarten through eighth grade. He recently decided to try out for the Wrestling team at Mullen High School, where he is currently enrolled as a Junior. Jovany is your typical teenage boy who enjoys the company of his friends. They attend sporting events, debate over their favorite football teams, and catch up on the latest music trends. He has been blessed with good friends who are determined to support him through this difficult time.

To show Jovany and his family support, we are reaching out to all his friends, family, and the community to help us reach a goal of $25,000. These funds will be used to directly support Jovany’s growing medical expenses and cover expenses that will accrue as his parents take time off work to be by his side.

This is a parent’s worst nightmare, and there are no words to describe what Jovany’s family is experiencing. While we can’t lessen their pain, these funds will ease the stress and help them focus on navigating the challenges that Jovany faces.
