On October 7th 2015 our dad suffered a major heart attack. The persistent paramedics revived him after 53 minutes without a pulse. The wonderful staff of McLaren Flint did all they could to repair his heart and were successful. Unfortunately due to the lack of oxygen to his brain for the 53 minutes without a pulse he was left with extensive brain damage. Our father was a strong man and fought to stay alive so everyone who cared for him could come and say their goodbyes. Today on October 12th 2015 at 5:42 p.m. his heart beat one last time and began his journey to heaven. A tragic fall in 2006 from of a tree blind while hunting that left him paralyzed from the waist down and he was unable to work ever since. All of the money that he had saved including 401k, stock options and life insurance policies were depleted. We would like to be able to give our Father the proper funeral services and allow friends and family to say their final goodbyes. Without all of you we fear that may not be possible. Please help us with this final sign of respect for the man that has touched so many of our lives.
