Journey to Esquire: Bar Exam Fund
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, becoming an attorney has been a lifelong dream.
My journey to esquire has been riddled with adversity. The hours were long and I met many challenges that threatened to derail me… Yet, here I am: two short months away from law school graduation. By the grace of God, I was able to maintain my peace of mind, academic obligations, and personal and professional commitments.
Completing law school is a major milestone in becoming a lawyer, but the journey does not end at the conferment of my Juris Doctorate degree. In order to practice law, the ultimate hurdle is passing the New York Law Exam, the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam, and lastly, the two-day Uniform Bar Exam. It is a rigorous exam that encompasses a variety of subjects designed to test a law student's knowledge and fitness to perform the obligations and responsibilities of a practicing attorney at law. Quality bar preparation is the sole determinant of success.
My passion for the study and practice of law does not come at a low cost. Graduate students are unable to receive financial assistance towards bar expenses and I cannot adequately prepare my application without monetary support. I will graciously accept any donation, small or large, to assist me in overcoming this challenge.
Thank you all for your time, thoughts, prayers and encouragement. With your continued support, this “dream” of mine has become the most imminent of possibilities.
With gratitude,
Crystal Peters
