It’s a pretty simple one. Our dear friend Jacob Ashley’s partner of two decades

Leah was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer. She is going to need extensive treatment and both will be out of work in order to focus on her health.

Without hesitation my thought was to create an event to raise money for my amazing friend and his gal. He’s the other half of this amazing community we’ve built so what better way to raise said money than to have a community event like no other.

Journey’s will take place April 26th-April28th and consist of three days of never before heard stories and talks from some of the most recognizable names in tech. Each of our amazing speakers will deliver a powerful talk on their own personal journeys, and then answer questions with you.

Because it’s about tech and it’s not about tech.
