Journey to the 2024 Olympic Games

My name is Lucius van Rensburg.

I’ve been wrestling since the age of 6 and achieved plenty accolades throughout my career. If you know me, you know wrestling is a very big part of my life.

I was recently presented an opportunity to wrestle in the South African wrestling trials in the beginning of October, where should I qualify, I will be able to represent my country at African Continental championships early next year and placing accordingly at this tournament will grant me a spot in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

This is not only an opportunity of a lifetime but also a childhood dream of mine. I’ve always believed I could wrestle on that stage and now I get the chance to. To realise my dream I however needs some financial assistance and would like to appeal to you for a donation.

The money raised will cover travelling costs, accommodation and training and registration fees as well as support my little family while I’m away.
