Journey to recovery for DJ and Joyce Oler

On the evening of Tuesday, November 26th, 2019, after visiting family in Rocky Mountain House, AB, Joyce and DJ was driving back home to Drumheller, AB when they were involved in a car accident. They both had to be transported by Star Ambulance, Joyce to a City Hospital and DJ to the Pediatric Hospitals in Calgary, AB.
DJ had to have suction from his lungs and is doing very well! Joyce, DJ's Mother, is worse off, she has a fracture in her spinal vertebrae, both arms and hands are broken in several places and is in need of reconstructive surgery on her left hand.
She will be in
She had 5 surgeries done yesterday(Nov 27th) She has three plates in her left arm, had surgeries on her left elbow and left hand, plate in her right arm between elbow and wrist and another two plastic surgeries to go on the left hand.
The Doctors said she was a rockstar in surgery but she will have to wear the neck brace and head gear for the next three months.
All of her family will be helping with DJ and Joyce's recovery, her sisters will be taking care of DJ, driving back and forth to and from home out of Calgary and the hospital in Calgary, sister Trista will not be going back to work until everything is back to normal with Joyce and DJ. Joyce obviously will not be able to go back to work to support DJ for 6+ Months.
So your generous donations will be going towards the logistics of taking care of DJ, helping with Joyce's medical bills and living expenses going forward.
