As most of you know, Sunday afternoon became a tragic accident. Aiden was attacked by a dog at a neighbors home. He was taken into Bjach hospital on Fort Polk by ambulance, then later Air lifted to LSU in Shreveport LA to receive better care. Dad was able to fly with him but mom was unable to ride along. Dana had to make the long drive to be with her precious baby boy. Aiden had another CT scan and found he has a puncture wound on the skull, has severe lacerations on his face and head. His right eye was struck as well and they are doctors are trying their hardest to save his eye. Aiden will undergo a series of surgeries and more than likely multiple skin graphs. It will be a long road to recovery but we know Aiden is so strong! He is a trooper. Although this is a very tragic situation, Aiden is doing so good, he is fighting and hanging in there.


Dana and Mike have such a beautiful family. They are the best parents to 3 wonderful children, Emily, Aiden and Jayden. There is no greater feeling than the love of a parent for their child. Love trumps over everything. Family and friends have been praying and sending encouraging texts, phone calls, emails, and messages. They truly are so thankful and blessed. We all know the expenses of traveling to be with their child can be rough and very expensive. Every mom and dad wants nothing more to be with their child as they go through these type of procedures. Let's as family, friends and the community help support the Paulk family in this long journey. It's going to be a journey of blessings. God has Aiden in His hands and the entire family. Every little bit can help support the cost in gas, hotel fees, food and even help with the upcoming bills as Aiden will be in the hospital for a while recovering. Dana and Mike live roughly 2-2 1/2 hours from the hospital, it's not just a quick drive. The countless hours of driving back and forth will be hard.

If you can bless this precious family, there hearts will be overjoyed. Any amount can help provide a hot meal, pillow, or a hot shower for Dana and Mike. Also keep bathing this family in prayer and love.
