Journey to Hope- Genora's knee surgery &recovery

Hi, my name is Genora Spain. I am a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister and a friend.
My journey began in 2016. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Disease (arthritis). That diagnosis lead to a series of events, were my knees started to fail. The complications of that lead to one meniscus repair surgery and 2 total right knee replacements. All in which ended up not being successful due to a disease did not know I had called Arthrofibrosis.
After years of trying to figure out why my recovery process was not working and being told I would be permanently disabled, I found hope.
I share in a video that I have attached below the whole story and why we are starting this fund.
After a visit to a place in Cincinnati, Ohio, called The Noyes Knee Institute. I was able to meet with a Dr. Noyes, the founder of the institution, and be introduced to a program he has been using for over 3 decades that helps cases just like mine. One of 3 in the world.
I will be undergoing surgery to clean out the Arthrofibrosis by Dr. Noyes, a specific medication plan monitored by their inhouse Rheumatologist and a specific physical therapy program daily at their facilities.
To be able to do something like this, their are lot of costs outside of what my insurance will cover to make this happen. I will need to stay in Cincinnati after my surgery for 1 month to recover. The programs successful rate is 99% and requires it for that success.
Because of the financial toll this has already had on our family, we will need raise $5000 by January 8th for the cost of flights, Airbnb for a month, food for the duration and medical equipment needed to recover. My surgery and time in Cincinnati will be January 10th- February 10th.
We are asking for your support. We appreciate your encouragement and prayers as well.
This is not a easy thing to ask, but my goal is to lift some of the burden off of my husband and parents who have supported this journey so far.
